With Thursday came a day of mixed emotions for Plainview seniors Kyra Treadwell and Tatum Brewster.

With Thursday came a day of mixed emotions for Plainview seniors Kyra Treadwell and Tatum Brewster.

The senior duo suited up for the last time as members of the Lady Indians fast pitch softball team, but Brewster had a special ending in mind against the Ardmore Lady Tigers. 

A ground ball with one out in the bottom of the seventh hit by Brewster allowed Lexi Hackney and Taryn Martin to score, as Plainview won in dramatic fashion on Senior Night by a score of 6-5 at the Plainview Softball Field. 

The Lady Indians took the lead in the bottom of the third when Taryn Martin sent an RBI double to left which scored Brinkley Campbell.

Brewster then made it 2-0 with an RBI single off a fly ball to left. 

Lauren Blankenship evened the score for the Lady Tigers in the top of the fifth when she ripped a fly ball to right field which scored Kenya Palmer and Nakaya Coleman.

Reagan Lewis then gave Ardmore the lead with an RBI single which scored Blankenship. 

But in the bottom of the fifth it was all square again as Riley Grant got a sacrifice fly RBI which scored Campbell. 

Makila Case then gave the Lady Tigers a 5-3 lead when her hard ground ball resulted in an error, allowing Shakira Smith and Palmer to score.

Treadwell got Plainview within one run at 5-4 with a sacrifice fly RBI in the bottom of the sixth.

Brewster then stepped up in her final plate appearance at Plainview for the fast pitch softball team and came through, ensuring her team ended the season on a four game winning streak. 

Grant got the win on the mound for Plainview, throwing a complete game, she allowed three earned runs on seven hits with six walks and 10 strikeouts.

Savannah Marris took the loss for Ardmore on the mound, throwing 6 1/3 innings. She allowed five earned runs on 10 hits with one strikeout and two walks.

Plainview ends its season with an overall record of 12-16.
