Following a successful regular season which included a return to the playoffs, things came to a sudden end for the Davis Lady Wolves on Thursday in Prague.

A pair of losses to Meeker and Lindsay eliminated the Lady Wolves, ending their season at 21-12 overall.

Meeker 10 Davis 4

It was too little, too late in the opening game of the tournament for Davis as they scored two runs a piece in the sixth and seventh innings, but failed to make up a 10-run deficit against Meeker.

Meeker scored two in the first, one in the second and three in the third.

Davis was in danger of being run-ruled after the top of the sixth when Meeker scored four runs, but managed to stay in the game with two runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Gracie Eggleston, Madi Merrell, and Paige Miller all had one RBI apiece in the game for Davis.

Lindsay 15 Davis 5 F/5

Despite taking an early lead against Lindsay, Davis couldn’t contain the Leopardettes, and were eliminated in five innings.

Davis scored two runs in the first before Lindsay responded with nine of its own.

Despite getting three more runs in the second, Davis couldn’t stop Lindsay from scoring three in the third and three more in the fifth to seal the victory.

Paige Miller led the Lady Wolves with two RBI’s in the game.
