After a stellar 2018-19 season in which they were represented at the state tournament in Oklahoma City, the Ardmore Tigers wrestling team will soon be hitting the mats to begin the trek back to state.

After a stellar 2018-19 season in which they were represented at the state tournament in Oklahoma City, the Ardmore Tigers wrestling team will soon be hitting the mats to begin the trek back to state.   The 2019-2020 schedule for the Ardmore wrestling team was recently released, with several high profile tournaments highlighting the slate.   Nov. 23 will see the season begin at the Midwest City Open, before the Tigers will head to Tuttle for the Pre-Turkey Open tournament on Nov. 27.   After a short break, the Tigers will be back in action at the Madill Dual Tournament which will take place on Dec. 6-7.   Just a few days later on Dec. 13-14, the Tigers will travel to Duncan for the annual Southern Oklahoma Invitational tournament, before a dual against Pauls Valley will end the calendar year on Dec. 19.   Ardmore will open the new year at Sulphur with a dual against the Bulldogs on Jan. 7, before hosting the Ada Cougars on Jan. 9.   Jan. 10-11 will have the Tigers making the trip to Texas for the Euless Trinity Trojan Classic tournament which will take place in Dallas.   Duals against McAlester and Plainview on the road will follow on Jan. 14 and 16, before the Tigers will head back to Texas for the Dallas Jesuit Ranger Classic tournament on Jan. 17-18.   Ardmore will compete for a chance to go to dual state on Jan. 23 at El Reno in the district tournament, before traveling to Firelake Arena in Shawnee for the Midwestern Conference tournament on Jan. 24-25.   The Tigers will then have a pair of duals against Durant and Davis on Jan. 28 and Feb. 11 before regionals take place on Feb. 21-22, with state to follow on Feb. 28-29.
