While the season might not have started so bright for Fox, the good times have been continuing over the last few weeks.   Three straight victories have the Foxes dreaming of the postseason, and things could yet get even better for the red and white.   At 7 p.m. tonight the Foxes (3-3, 2-1) will make the long trip to just outside Weatherford for a contest against Corn Bible Academy, where a victory will all but seal a playoff spot for Fox.   Fox will travel a total of just over two hours or about 138 miles one way for their game tonight.   "We have a long trip ahead of us, and we have to be ready to play when we get there and get stretched out,” Fox coach Brent Phelps said. “Corn Bible is 2-2 in district right now and 2-5 overall. We have been playing hard in our last couple of games, and we are playing with a lot more awareness of what we are doing, and I am hoping we can put it all together in this game. Sometimes we never know. We have to play the game and see how things come out."   As things stand, the Foxes currently sit in third place in District C-2, tied with Mt. View-Gotebo for second place at 2-1 in district play and 12 district points.   With a win against Corn Bible and a victory against Maysville next week, the Foxes could set themselves up for an important matchup the final week of the season for second place in the district.   Corn Bible had a bye last week, but rolled in its last home contest on Oct. 11 against Thackerville by a score of 54-6.   Fox’s game meanwhile last week against Thackerville went down as a 28-6 result, after the game was called at halftime due to a player injury for the Wildcats.   When these two teams played last year at Fox, the Foxes rolled to a 54-6 victory.
