The Comets now face a win-or-go home situation Friday night against Comanche, with the winner earning the last playoff spot and a trip to Washington in the first round of the playoffs. Crescent 15 Healdton 0 The Healdton Bulldogs played a rare late season non-district game Friday night, falling against the Crescent Tigers. Healdton will finish the season with a game against Rush Springs on Friday which will be played at Noble Stadium in Ardmore beginning at 7 p.m. Purcell 48 Lone Grove 47 Despite a strong effort, the Lone Grove Longhorns were eliminated from playoff contention Friday night. Lone Grove needed a victory to stay alive, but the Purcell Dragons managed to escape on the road. The loss drops the Longhorns to 5-4 overall and 2-4 in district play, and was the fourth in a row for the Longhorns after winning their first five games of the season. Lone Grove will end the season hosting Bethel on Friday.
