In recent years, the Sulphur Bulldogs have gotten used to going far in the playoffs.   Friday night though, the Bulldogs had their playoff journey halted before it could officially get rolling.   The Perkins-Tryon Demons decided to exact some revenge from a year ago on the Bulldogs, as they eliminated Sulphur from the Class 3A postseason with a 35-6 defeat in Perkins.   In the first quarter, the Demons got on the board thanks to Ayron Lawson breaking loose for a 68 yard touchdown run to make it 7-0.   Sulphur would respond though thanks to Reese Ratchford finding Price Daube for a two-yard touchdown pass to make it 7-6 after the missed extra point.   But as the game turned to the second quarter, the Demons started to take control.   First it was Lawson finding Teegan Shepard for a 17-yard touchdown pass before Austin Mages pushed his way in for a one yard touchdown run to make it 21-6 for the Demons going into the halftime break.   Mages was kept quiet in the third quarter, but he responded with a pair of touchdowns in the fourth to finish off the game and the Bulldogs season.   Ratchford finished the game 7-of-16 passing for 78 yards with one touchdown and one interception.   Logan Smith finished the game with 13 carries for 62 yards rushing, with Tavis McDonald going for four carries for 49 yards.   Smith also had three catches for 48 yards receiving.   Sulphur ends its season at 8-3 overall.
