MILL CREEK — While the victories for the Turner Falcons haven’t always been pretty this season, they have been victories none the less. Tuesday night was a clear example. Turner used a smothering offensive attack to overwhelm the Mill Creek Bullfrogs, as the Falcons moved to 3-0 on the season with a 73-56 victory at “The Pond”. This marks the second straight season the Falcons have won their opening three games of the campaign, as they won four straight last year to open the season. Despite the close proximity of the final score numbers wise, the gap couldn’t have been any wider between these two teams for the first three quarters. Mill Creek managed to score just 11 points in the first quarter, while the Falcons raced out to a commanding lead with 25 points of their own. Turner clamped down on defense in the second quarter as the Bullfrogs could only score four points before halftime, while the Falcons added 16 to lead 41-15 after the first half. In the third quarter, the Falcons turned it into overdrive as they lead 70-28, before taking a 70-30 lead into the fourth. Mill Creek kept its starters in for the rest of the game, which led to a 26-3 advantage in the fourth quarter. Tyler Campbell led the Falcons with 25 points followed by Devin Davis with 14, Javon Wolfe with 13 and Hunter Johnston with 12 points.
