Four Ardmore men are facing complaints for first degree robbery following an alleged armed home invasion Sunday.
Ardmore Police Department Capt. Eric Hamblin said officers were dispatched to a residence at the 700 block of F St. SE around 9 p.m. on Nov. 24 in reference to an armed robbery. Three people were reportedly inside the home at the time of the incident.
“According to the victims, four males burst into their residence,” Hamblin said. “They were armed with firearms and at least one shotgun.”
Hamblin said the four suspects were allegedly demanding money and marijuana from the victims. One victim was reportedly struck in the face and on the head with the butt of a shotgun and later treated on scene for minor injuries. There were no other injuries reported.
“I’m guessing that at least one of the suspects knew the victim and I think they believed he had a large quantity of marijuana and cash and decided to rob him,” Hamblin said.
The suspects allegedly took a large quantity of marijuana and cash from the residence and fled the scene. However, officers were able to apprehend one suspect at a residence down the road.
“They located one of the suspects at a residence not far from the crime scene and then were able to confirm the identity of the other suspects,” Hamblin said. “They were located and arrested.”
Alan Stinson, 26, of Ardmore; Trevor Brooks, 31, of Ardmore; Keenen Wright, 26, of Ardmore; and Robert Knight, 28, of Ardmore, were all booked into the Carter County Jail for the district charge of first degree robbery.
