MIDWEST CITY — Through the first few games of the season thus far, the No. 7 Ardmore Lady Tigers have had multiple players step up with solid performances. Friday afternoon was no exception against Heritage Hall. Regan McCurley had her best performance of the season so far as she paced the Lady Tigers with 19 points in a comfortable 76-38 victory over the Lady Chargers at Carl Albert High School. The victory moves the Lady Tigers to 3-0 on the season, as Ardmore will be back in action Tuesday night at Durant. Ardmore had the perfect way to open the game as the Lady Tigers scored 12 straight points to lead 12-0 at the 4:47 mark of the first quarter. Heritage Hall managed to get on the board, but the Lady Tigers were already well in front as the first quarter ended with Ardmore leading 23-5. The Lady Chargers could only manage eight points in the second quarter as Ardmore built up a healthy halftime lead at 40-13. A 20-10 third quarter run kept the Lady Tigers well in front, as Ardmore finished the game off with a 16-15 fourth quarter. Maya McGee scored 16 points for Ardmore in the game, with Khalyah Willis putting in 15 points. Chloe Rucker added six points, with Trinidee Jefferson and Charli Fuller each scoring five points. Shakira Smith and Tiona Cohee had four points apiece for Ardmore.
