Through four games this season, the formula for success has been simple for the Fox Foxes.   Score a lot of points, and play lights out defense.   Business continued to prosper on Thursday in the opening round of the Chattanooga Shootout against Tipton.   For only the third time this season, the Foxes allowed an opponent to score more than 40 points against them, but they scored their highest offensive output in the process, winning 79-43 to move to 5-0 on the season.   Fox scored 21 points in the first quarter, while holding Tipton to just 13 points.   Tipton’s offense slowed down before halftime as the Foxes held the Tigers to just eight points while scoring 24 of their own in the process.   David Martin was one of three players who finished in double figures for the Foxes as he led the team with 18 points with Drew Martin scoring 15 points.   Logan McCurtain finished with 10 points for the Foxes as Matthew Bowerman and Miles Townsend each scored eight points.
