Entering the Charles K. Heatley Tournament, the Davis Lady Wolves knew they had a chance to break out of their recent bad form and get back on track.   Unfortunately, the Pauls Valley Pantherettes had other ideas on Thursday in Lindsay.   The Lady Wolves were undone by a buzzer beater as they fell 35-33, sending them to the consolation bracket of the tournament.   Davis found itself down 9-5 after the first quarter, before going into the break down 15-9.   A 9-8 run by the Lady Wolves gave them life going to the fourth as they were facing a 23-18 deficit.   But despite a 15-point fourth quarter performance, the Lady Wolves were undone by Pauls Valley’s 12 points, the last of which won the game.   Jolee Grinstead led the scoring for Davis with nine points followed by Jacie Lanoy with eight points, and Jordan Brown with seven points.
