On Tuesday evening, December 29th, 2020, Henrietta Schreiber was greeted by Jesus at heaven's gate and left behind many who loved and adored her as a beloved Mom, MeMaw, sister, aunt and friend.
Henrietta Louise Schreiber was born November 4, 1941 in Lawton, OK to Henry and Sarah Wilson (Holbrook) and passed away at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, OK. She moved to Dickson as a child and graduated from Dickson High School in 1959. For the last 45 years she has loved living on her two acres from the family farm that was given to her by her dad before his passing.
She married Gerald Schreiber in May 1975 and they were married for 40 years until he preceded her in death February 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Verna Williams.
She spent the last twenty years of her life happily greeting customers at Walmart and always referred to them as her family as well. When she greeted anyone whether it was family, friends or a stranger she let you know that she didn't shake hands, she only gave hugs. She loved her family fiercely and anyone who spoke with her got to hear all about them because of how proud she was of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid sports fan who especially loved the Dallas Cowboys and Dickson Comets, but watching her grandchildren play sports or perform in theater was her absolute favorite. She will be missed by many, but we know because of her faith in Jesus Christ she is now rejoicing in heaven and telling Him all about her family that she loved to the moon and back.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Cole; son, Jason Schreiber and wife Jamie; grandchildren, Kailey Posey and husband Ryan; Lindsay Toews and husband Matthew; Tyler and Jacob Cole; Connor, Zander and Zoe Schreiber; her great grandchildren, Walter, William, and Anna Claire Toews; Haddon, Whitton and Cora Faith Posey, and Easton Cole; her two brothers, Glenn and John Wilson and a sister Kay Self; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to Harvey Douglas Funeral Home in her honor.
Cremation-With-Care was provided by Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home, where words of comfort for Henrietta's family may be sent online at www.hdouglasfuneralhome.com.
