Clyde Jerry Ashford
Clyde Jerry Ashford, 77, of Mannsville, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2021 at the Chickasaw Nation Health Center in Ada, Oklahoma due to covid-19. He was born on May 14, 1943 in Medford, Oregon to C. J. Ashford and Janie Lorene Dye Ashford. Due to his dad being in the military, the family traveled living in Germany and Hawaii. Clyde was raised in Terral, Oklahoma where he attended school. It's there he and Kay Coleman met and dated as high school sweethearts. Kay moved to Russett and Clyde joined the United States marines. They went their separate ways, Kay married, and Clyde married Judy Shoffner, the mother of his 4 children. Clyde was a good, happy, and gentle man who loved his family and friends. He and Kay were reunited and married in 1999 at their home in Mannsville. Clyde was a freight hauler all his entire life, working for Beaver Express for over 25 years, the last few years as a terminal manager, retiring in 2010. He was a member of the Madill Church of Christ.

And many other family and friends.
Clyde was preceded in death by parents, 1 son; David Wayne Ashford, 2 brothers; Robert Lee and James Donald.
