John H. Bryant
The Home Going celebration for John H. Bryant, 74, will be held Friday, March 5, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church located at 16 E Street NE; with Reverend Wayne Lawson officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
The son of the late Robert Bryant and Sallie Kincey, John was born March 23, 1946 in Marianna, Florida and went to be with is Lord and Savior on February 28, 2021.
He served our nation in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged October 19, 1967.
John owned and operated Bryant Plumbing for 38 years before he retired. He enjoyed going fishing every chance he got. He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church and was a member of the Sunset Masonic Lodge #85, and a member of the pipefitters union.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his daughters, Tonia S. Bryant and Theresa L. Bryant; his sister Diana Bryant, and grandchildren, Quantisha Young; Desiree Bryant-Reynolds; Destinie Bryant; Serena Torres, and Johari Clemons and great grandson Santino Dupree, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents and the lady who helped raised him Marie Kincey.
Serving as bearers will be Russell Hodrick, Victor Hubbard, Jarrod Lane, Che Russell, Chris McDonald, Dereque Jones and Jerome Shannon. Honorary bearers will be Loyd Collier and James Skanes.
