Jessica Dawn Hensley
Ardmore - Friends and family are left behind to mourn Jessica Dawn Hensley. Jessica was born in Ardmore, Ok. on the beautiful day of June 7th, 1984 to Sherry Hensley and James Arnold, but her dad, Lynn Ervin, lovingly helped in raising her. She departed this life in her home at Las Vegas, Nevada on March19th, 2021.
Jessica's zest for life was obvious, even as a baby. Throughout her childhood and youth she had a unique drive of self-motivation and independence. Jessi's outgoing, bubbly, charismatic personality attracted many. She played softball while growing up and loved hitting homeruns for her grandpa, Dorsey Hensley. While fishing with her dad often, once she caught a whopper big enough to make the local paper. Jessi was always proudly and eagerly her mom's best helper and the apple of her grandma, Ruth Hensley's, eye. Many fun hours were had with Jessi and her mom playing barbies together or jamming and dancing to good tunes. Jessica attended Plainview schools, where she excelled. She was so excited to welcome new sister, baby KayKay. She loved helping to care for her baby sister. Later, Jessica would excitingly welcome her own children; Josie, Thomas, and Skyla. Jessica was employed by several companies and individuals in Ardmore such as Dr. Turrentine, Save A Lot, and she also was a welder! In her latter years she enjoyed listening to 80's music, dancing and sightseeing.
Jessica was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather; Dorsey Hensley, maternal great grandfather; Bob Shepard.
Those she left behind include Sherry Hensley & David Lavers, sister; Kala Hensley, Lynn Ervin, uncle; Jack Hensley, great grandmother; Violet Shepard, special friend; Frank Fowlkes of Nevada, Steve Tucker of Ardmore, and her three amazing children; Josie, Thomas, and Skyla, of their grandparent's home.
