Joe Don Cook
Madill - Joe Don Cook, 67, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He was born on March 6, 1954 in Ardmore to Don Cook and Bettye Massey Cook Albers. Joe was raised in Madill, where he graduated from Madill High School. He also attended and graduated from Southeastern State University with a Political Science Degree. After graduation, Joe studied school of law at Oklahoma City University. He started office outfitters furniture and after 26 years finally closed the doors. He was a member of Calvary Christian Church in Ardmore and if he could have been a member of the dad jokes team; he would have been president. Joe enjoyed many things in his life from OU Football, race cars, to corny jokes, but most importantly his grandchildren. He loved to tell everyone about them. Joe will be missed deeply by everyone that knew and loved him.

12 Grandchildren: Chaz Cook, Kelsi Doss, Kendyl doss, Abagail Wood, Rayce Grigg, Samuel Cook, Katilina Calva, Joey Calva, Kolton Kern, Izabele Bazih, Leilah Bazih and Kadyn Kern
2 Great Grandchild: Londyn and Rayden Larsh
Sister: Sue Rushing and husband Randy, Madill, Oklahoma
Brothers: Will Cook and wife Karen, Madill, Oklahoma
Charles Cook and wife Molly, Denton, Texas
Many nephews and a niece of Madill, Oklahoma.
Joe was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Oklahoma. Judson Cook will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Oakland Cemetery, Oakland, Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
