Beverly Lou Taylor
Funeral services for Beverly Lou Taylor, 83, will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home with Reverend Leroy Holman officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Beverly was born December 18, 1937 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late John Riley and Bessie Mae Helton Lane, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 30, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Beverly attended Ardmore High School, and married the love of her life Barney Lester Taylor on December 23, 1954, before she graduated. Barney preceded her death on January 23, 2015. She was also preceded in death by her brother R. E. Lane and sister Darlene Miller.
Beverly owned and operated the Picture Book Cake Shop during the 1950's and 1960's. In 1970, she operated Beverly's Trim Shop installing interiors and trim on show cars, boats, and airplanes from all over the country. She ran both businesses out of her house. She was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church.
Beverly is survived her sons, Jody Taylor an wife Becky and Darric Taylor and wife Thelesa all of Ardmore; brother Johnny Lane and sister Norma Jean Hardison both of Ardmore; grandchildren, Britni David and husband Michael; Jared Taylor and wife Staci and Bradley Taylor and wife Taryn; great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Cole, Hunter, Easton, Rylie and Titus.
