Graveside services for Donna Lynne Reser Quick of Fort Worth, TX, are scheduled for 11:00am, Friday, May 7, 2021, at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Healdton, OK, with Rev. David Daniel officiating.
Donna was born on March 24, 1962, at Memorial Hospital in Ardmore, OK to Patsy Knight Reser and the late Royce Reser. She passed from this life on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, TX surrounded by family and friends.
Donna was raised in Healdton, OK where she graduated from high school in 1980. She was active in the Healdton United Methodist Church Youth Fellowship, His Kids, and played basketball for Healdton High School.
She went to work for First Western Bank of Oklahoma City after graduation, where she stayed until she moved to Fort Worth, TX in 1997. While in Fort Worth, she worked for Worthington National Bank, Affiliated Bank, and Plains Capital Bank. She retired in 2020.
Donna enjoyed scrapbooking, working Sudoku, jigsaw puzzles, and listening to Carrie Underwood. She was a big Dallas Mavericks fan, loved the Dallas Symphony, and had season tickets to both for many years. She was an avid animal lover and strongly supported organ and tissue donation, as she received a kidney transplant in 2006 and donated tissue upon her death.
Donna was a member of the New World United Methodist Church in Arlington, TX.
Preceding her in death are her Father, Royce Reser, and her brother, Les Reser.
Survivors include her Mother, Patsy Reser of Arlington, TX, sister Kathy Enos and husband Ted of Fort Worth, TX, close personal friend Michael Adamietz of Fort Worth, TX, sister-in-law Sally Reser Cumpton of Ardmore, OK, nieces Melissa Brasier and husband Dwayne of Noble, OK, Jennifer Terveen and husband Lance of Houston, TX, Michelle Thomas and husband Steven of Fort Worth, TX, Samantha Reser of Orlando, FL, and seven great nieces and nephews.
For Donna, happiness was a way of life. It didn't matter how many things knocked her down, she always had a smile on her face and came out on top. She loved her family with a passion and we will miss her dearly.
Family visitation will be held from 6pm-8pm Thursday evening at Harvey Douglas Funeral Home in Ardmore, OK.
