She lost the love of her life on October 15, 2019, but with the love of her family and her faith in God, she was sustained and blessed with the comfort of many friends and family. In 1967, Midge was crowned Ardmore Shrine Club Rodeo Queen. She had a great love of the game of bridge and her bridge ladies. She and Guy T. loved to travel, play golf, and attend blues music festivals and horse races. In 1985, she won a pick 6 wager to win $20,000. Always a good luck charm, she was kissed by Elvis Presley at a concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was always so proud of his scarf.

To describe Midge's career path, it would have to begin with raising her girls and attending to Guy T.'s every need. She was always by his side, in sickness and in health. She began her working career in 1969, when the family returned from Dallas, and was the secretary to the hiring manager at Uniroyal Tire Company. She worked in the trucking industry, real estate and owned and operated the Edge night club and Time Out Restaurant. After retirement, she enjoyed home projects, cooking, baking, sewing, working in her yard and loving on her 2 dogs, Katie and Sugar. She took great pride in her pristine organization and perfectionism.

To quote Midge's favorite bible verse, 1 Corinthians 2:9, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him"
