Ardmore - The son of the late Cecil Connie Blagg and Clarice Julian (McCoy) Blagg, Robert was born on June 23, 1947 in Ardmore, Oklahoma and passed away on July 16, 2021 at his Ardmore, Oklahoma resident at the age of 74 years, 0 months and 23 days.

He and the former Janell C. "Nell" Visart were married on August 19, 1967 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

An Ardmore resident all of his life, Robert attended and graduated from Ardmore High School with the class of 1965. He and the former Janell C. "Nell" Visart were married on August 19, 1967 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Robert worked for Button's Auto Electrical for a time, and then began his career with Uniroyal in 1972 as a tire builder. He retired from Uniroyal in December of 2014 after 41 years. Robert devoted his life to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and was always there to support them at their sporting events. He coached his daughter's softball teams for years. Robert loved women's college softball and was a thirty plus year ticket holder to the Women's College World Series. An avid OU fan to such a degree that it is requested those in attendance at his funeral service wear OU Sooners attire.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories two daughters: Melissa Kay Ned and husband, Brian and Elaine Blagg, all of Ardmore, OK; four grandchildren: Taryn Ratliff and Kendra Rateliff both of Ardmore, OK Landon Castello of Houston, TX and Ryese Whipple of Ardmore, OK; two great-grandchildren: Camden Rateliff and Madelyn Irons both of Ardmore, OK; three sisters: Connie Hendon of Marietta, OK, Sandy Clark of Fort Worth, TX and Kathy Blagg of Ardmore, OK; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, former spouse, Janell Visart, and a sister, Tommie Harris.

Honorary pallbearers will be: the "Gusher Classic Crew".

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Devon Maynard officiating.
