Ina Mae Shrum

Tishomingo - Ina Mae Shrum, 90 of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was born on May 2, 1931 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Rev. Hosea Laborn Teague and Susie Ann Carroll Teague. Ina lived in Marshall County and attended the Powell and Linn Schools. She married Walter Eugene Shrum on May 24, 1974 in Anchorage, Alaska and he preceded her in death on May 27, 2014. In 1986 she moved from Anchorage to Fort Worth where she lived for several years. Ina lived in Enos, Oklahoma on Lake Texoma before moving to Tishomingo in 2004. She fought a courageous 10 yearlong battle with cancer. Ina was a member of the New Covenant Fellowship Church, the VFW and she enjoyed fishing, sewing, cooking and gardening.

Children: Ricky Rogers and wife Cheryl, Ardmore, Oklahoma

Lynann Withers, Tishomingo, Oklahoma

Stepson: Kevin Shrum and wife Imogene, Ardmore, Oklahoma

16 Grandchildren: 26 Great grandchildren 7 Great great grandchildren

Ina was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sons; Larry and James Rogers, Stepdaughter; Denise Shrum, 1 grandson; Darin Brandt, 1 sister; Lela Gilreath, brothers; Hoyte, Edward and R. J. Teague.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's hospital or the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and a family hour from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the Woodberry-Forest Cemetery, Madill, Oklahoma. Bill Freeman and Bobby Freeman will officiate the service. Service will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to
