Sybil Fuller Trent
Graveside services for Sybil Trent, 84, will be held Friday morning, September 10, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in the Crinerville Cemetery with Reverend Bruce Kirby officiating.
Sybil Fuller Trent was born November 11, 1936 in Cheek, Oklahoma to Floyd and Allie Mae Brummett Fuller. Her father sadly passed away earlier in the year she was born. She was the youngest of four children, her sister, Lorene (Penny) Mitchell; and brothers J. T. and J. V. Fuller.
She attended Plainview school and graduated from Ardmore High School. She married David Madison Trent June 12, 1954 in Gainesville, Texas and together they raised two children, a son David Mark and daughter Debra Lynn. They made their home in McAlester, Oklahoma. They had been married for 60 years before he preceded her death on August 7, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Allie Fuller; her son David Mark Trent; her only grandchild, Jeffery David Watts; and her siblings, Lorene Mitchell, J. T. and J. V. Fuller.
She moved to Oklahoma City in 2016 to a memory center as she struggled with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. She passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Dorset Memory Center in Oklahoma City with loved ones by her side.
She loved flowers and gardening and was the best mother and aunt ever, putting everyone's needs first before her own. She fought the good fight and is free at last. It is certain that God and Jesus will say "Well done Sybil."
She is survived by her daughter Debra Watts and her husband Johnny of Edmond; her niece Kathy Fuller Maculla and her husband Phil of Oklahoma City; and her nephew David Spears of Arlington, Texas.
Services are entrusted to the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home and Crematory where words of comfort and condolences may be made to the family online at www.hdouglasfuneralhome.com.
