Eddie Haskell "Hack" Pittman

Eddie Haskell Pittman of Ardmore, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021 at the age of 93. Eddie was born on January 27th, 1928 in Troy, Oklahoma to George and Nona Ann (Armstrong) Pittman.

He married Betty Lee Pahlman on June 26th, 1948 at Gainesville, TX. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his son, Michael Pittman, grandson Brent Pittman, daughter-in-law Angela Pitman, brothers Joe Pittman, George Jr. Pittman, Robert Pittman and Fred Pittman; sisters Nola Little, Mattie Patrick, Emma Petak and Jimmi Vaile.

A life-long resident of the area, he worked for Oklahoma Natural Gas for 38 years.

He enlisted in the regular Army in 1946. He served in Korea for 13 months receiving the WWII Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal Japan and Good Conduct Medal.

After serving overseas he enlisted in the U.S. Army reserves for 3 years. He was called to active duty at the start of the Korean War.

Eddie loved God and his family. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing golf. Eddie was a member the Mannsville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons Jerry Pittman and Greg Pittman and wife Rachelle; grandson Brad Pittman and Jen; granddaughter Karen Miles and Keith; great grandsons Brett Pittman, Taylor Pittman, Nathan Pittman and Kaden Pittman; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Eddie Haskell "Hack" Pittman will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home with Reverend Bruce Kirby officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Military Honors. The family will receive friends at the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home Monday evening from 6-8 p.m.

Pallbearers will be: Jerry Pittman, Greg Pittman, Brad Pittman, Larry Petak, Keith Miles and Larry Garrison.
