William Larry (Bubby) Russell Jr
Age 49 years old passed away September the 7th 2021 surrounded by loved ones. Born in 1972 in Hilton Oklahoma to William l Russell and Mary Jane Cassidy (Russell). He was the second of three children. He lived in many places always coming back home to leon. He had many callings in life including but not living to electrician, bull rider, mechanic, chicken farmer, entrepreneur, beekeeper, junk man, truck driver. Anything he put his mind to, he could do, and be great at. He didn't find his true calling until he became a father. Welcoming their daughter Avery LeAnn Russell in 2020. He enjoyed traveling all over the United states. Enjoying new experiences and food along the way. Creating new memories every stop along the way, be that at a Walmart parking lot, or tombstone, New York city, he always found a way to make it memorable. He is survived by his wife Erica and daughter Avery, of leon. Father William Russell of leon. Mother Mary Cassidy and husband Wess of Scroggins Texas. Sister Joni and husband Brian of Hilton Oklahoma. Sister Amber and Justin Gilbert of Leon. Brother Randall and wife Tonya Graham of Nocona Texas. Two nieces, five nephews, two great nieces, one great nephew. As well as many, many other family members too many to mention but all equally loved. He will be remembered for his ornery smile, sense of humor, his generosity to everyone. Anyone in need, he would find a way to help. No matter the time or distance. Who can forget his hot headed temper, his Bubby fits. Or the way his voice could be heard across the room, and his laugh could light up the night. Bubby was a man that was honest to fault what you see is what you get, you always knew where you stood with him. As many have said, they have never seen him so happy. He would even tell you, my life truly began when I had avery, I'm blessed with the two best woman in the world. He will be dearly missed! He was truly one of a kind, anyone who was blessed to have known him is welcome to the Memorial services, they will be Saturday September the 18th at 3:00 p.m. in Leon Oklahoma.
