Ardmore - Marva Louise Loftis, age 77, passed away on October 6th, 2021, in Ardmore, Okla. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 16th, 2021 at Corinth Baptist Church of Ardmore, Okla. Funeral under the directions of Kirk Funeral Home.

Marva was born on September 15, 1944 to Robert King and Elaine "Zee" Banks-Brown in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her early years were spent in Indiana and Boley, Okla. At a young age, she united with Calvary Baptist Church in Gene Autry, Okla. where her grandfather served as pastor & founder of the church. She attended high school in Indiana and later obtained her GED in Ardmore, Okla. She eventually obtained her Associate's degree in Science with an emphasis in Counseling from Murray State College. She spent many years as a housewife and stay at home mother until transitioning to the workplace. She worked at Western Sizzlin in Ardmore, Okla as a hostess as well as Huggies Heroes as a childcare provider for the infants before retiring. She loved her jobs because she got to spend her time in service to others.

She enjoyed attending church at Corinth Baptist Church and singing in the choir, her senior citizen's club, cooking, bingo, and puzzles. She also loved to spend time watching soap operas and game shows on television over a cup of coffee and a twinkie. Marva loved spending time with her family and some of her greatest joys came from pouring wisdom and excellence into them.

Marva was preceded in death by her mother & father, her brother, her son, her daughter, and one grandchild; Robert King, Elaine Banks-Brown, John King, Damon Loftis, Tina Harris, and Krystal Loftis.

She is survived by her son Carlton Jordan (Cynthia); her daughter Ranetta Loftis; her son Antonio Loftis; the father of her children, Billy Ray Loftis; her sister JoAnn King; her grandchildren, Justin (Jennifer) Harris, Aaron (Elizabeth) Harris, Ashley (Daniel) Dorsey, Amber Loftis, Airel Loftis, Bailee Loftis, Tyrell Carr, Tyreec Loftis, Tanaija Loftis, Antonio Loftis Jr., Jacinda Garcia, & Taylor Jordan; a host of great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces, other relatives & close friends.
