William W. "Bill" Wilkerson

Graveside rites for William "Bill" Wilkerson, 75, will be Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Rose Hill Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army.

Bill was born September 19, 1946, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Franklin and Lois Wilkerson. He passed from this life on November 28, 2021.

Bill served in the US Army during the Vietnam war, and was a helicopter mechanic. After returning home, he drove trucks cross country, ran a trucking company, worked as a mechanic with the trucking company and also in the oil fields before retiring and raising cattle.

He loved racing cars, boating, camping and fishing. He enjoyed sharing his many life experience stories.

Bill leaves to cherish his memory his wife Logena; daughter Michele and husband Lorne Smith; sister, Donna Cole; granddaughters, Dr. Jessica and Kaleb Rousey; Kasie Smith and Trevor Reed; great grandson Camden and great grand daughter Avah to be delivered in January; and great grandson Braxon to be delivered in February.
