Graveside services for Paul Ernest Harrell, 66, will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2021 at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery with Mr. Larry Johnson officiating.

Paul was born on December 12, 1954 in Ardmore to the late Frank Paul Harrell and Barbara Crumb Nichols. He passed away at his residence on November 22, 2021.

Paul married Carol Ann Holt on August 4, 1975 in Gainesville, Texas and were the parents of a daughter, Amber. They were married an impressive 44 years before Carol passed away on September 17, 2019.

Paul worked as an auto mechanic for more than 30 years. He got his start with mechanics working alongside his grandfather Ernest Crumb, and father-in-law Hoyle Holt. He went on to be the owner and operator of his own mechanic shop, Paul Harrell Truck and Auto Repair where he was dedicated to helping his loyal customer base until his retirement.

He is survived by his daughter, Amber Freeman; son-in-law, Robert; his family-in-law, the Freeman's, sister-in-law, Penny Wells and husband, Steve; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the American Cancer Society, as both he and Carol were cancer survivors.
