Weslaco, TX – It is with heavy hearts that we let you know Kenneth passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021, due to complications from a heart valve procedure.

Kenneth was born to Pansy and Thomas Woody “Buck” Stiewig on January 5, 1939, in Mansville, Oklahoma. He graduated from Ardmore High School. After graduation, he married Paula Diane Daniel. They had three daughters whom they raised and loved dearly. They were married for twenty years. His life’s work included owning his own vending company – ACE Vending, being an insurance agent for Farmers Insurance Company and finally driving a big rig with Celadon and CFI. In the 80’s, he met and married his best friend, Shirley Enyart Morrison.

He leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Shirley Stiewig; three daughters: Kim Beebe, Laurie Shorter and Bonnie Panek; three stepchildren: Jennifer Dinges, Lori Morrison and Phillip Morrison; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sisters: Nadine Whitworth, Geneva Skala, Linda McBeth and Diane McCollum; he was preceded in death by two sisters: Betty Stiewig Adams and Irene Stiewig. He had several nieces and nephews, not to mention many great friends, especially childhood friends Kenneth Brecht, Glen Adair and Keith “Jigger” Roberts. Those of us who were blessed to have truly known him will miss his funny humor, quick wit, true humbleness, giving spirit and friendship. May he live in our hearts forever until we meet again.
