Carl Wilson Cook passed away in Ardmore, Oklahoma on January 6th at the age of 79.

Carl is predeceased by his parents, Woodrow and Vernice Cook and his grandson, Jackson Cook.

Carl is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Lennye Hestad and her husband Dan of Mansfield, GA; his son, C.W.Cook and his wife, Kate of Goldsby, OK; his sister, Jessie Faye Burchfield of Gene Autry, OK; his grandchildren Drew Hestad and his wife Nicole, Matt Hestad and his wife Bianca, Gabe Hestad, Carter Cook, Cassidy Cook and Kennedy Cook; and by his great-grandchildren Remi, Rory, Rex and Boomer Hestad.

Carl was born in Canalou, Missouri on June 29, 1942. He attended Fox and Dickson High Schools and worked as a Teamster truck driver until his retirement.

Carl enjoyed working on motorcycles and vintage cars. He would be found most days in his garage with any number of good friends, most often with Virgil Gaither. He was also blessed with the companionship of his dear friend, Dois Harbeson. Carl enjoyed camping in the mountains and fishing for trout.

The funeral service will be held at Calvary Christian Fellowship at 2201 4th Avenue NW in Ardmore, OK on Saturday, January 14th at 10:00 AM.
