Coy Reece Butler

The son of the late Percy and Alta May Harrison Butler, Coy was born December 15, 1934 in Ardmore, Oklahoma and passed away January 11, 2022 in a local nursing facility.

Coy was a graduate of Plainview High School, class of 1953, attended Southeastern State College and graduated from Oklahoma A & M(OSU). He served in the United States Army Reserve 4002d ARSU as a Staff Sergeant .

Coy worked for many years as a welder for the SEM Corporation in Springer. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He loved hunting, fishing and camping.

Coy is survived by his sister Deloris Eastman and her husband Curtis of Lone Grove, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Coy's request, there will be no formal services held.
