Regina Marie Altom Vickers, 85, of Ardmore, passed away on Jan. 18, 2020 at the Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, after a brief illness. She was born on June 21, 1934 in Dallas, to the late Sherman Joseph Altom and Juanita Peden Altom. Regina was raised and attended schools in Fox, Rexroat, Healdton, Tahlequah and Norman before returning to Healdton where she graduated in 1952. Following graduation, she began her career with the Department of Human Services in Ardmore as transcriptionist. Regina worked for DHS in Tahlequah, Ada, Ardmore and Oklahoma City before retiring in 1995 to Lebanon. She married Jimmie Glynn Vickers on March 20, 1954 in Healdton, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 2001. Regina was a member of the Lincoln Avenue Church of Christ in Healdton and she enjoyed reading, dancing, her dog “Pug” and listening to country music.
She is survived by children: David Ray Vickers, Ardmore, grandchildren: Chris, John, Dustin and Danielle, sisters: Melba Cartwright, Madill, and several cousins.
Regina was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons: Steven Glynn and Bobby Gene, one granddaughter; Angel Vickers.

Visitation will be Friday, January 24, 2020 at Watts Funeral Home, Madill, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a family hour from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020 at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill. Scott Renfro will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
