The Oklahoma State Election Board has released the preliminary totals for the 2024 general election.

As of this article’s publication at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday evening, 99.65% of all precincts across the state were reporting. The complete numbers will be listed in an article for Thursday.

For United States Representative for Oklahoma District 4, Republican Tom Cole easily retained his seat winning over 65% of the total vote. Democrat Mary Brannon received just over 28% and Independent James Stacy received just over 6%.

The evenings closest races came down to the Oklahoma Supreme Court Justices and whether or not three judges should be retained. All three races ended up close to 50/50. However, it looks like Judge Norma Gurich in District 3 and Judge James Edmondson in District 7 will be keeping their seats while Judge Yvonne Kauger has been voted out in District 4. As of 10:45 p.m. with 99.65% of all precincts reporting Kauger was down by less than 300 votes.

All appeals court judges easily retained their seats.

State Question 833 which would have created public infrastructure districts failed with over 60% of voters against it.

State Question 834 which clarified that only U.S. Citizens can vote in Oklahoma passed with over 80% in favor.

Oklahoma’s vote for president went to Doland Trump who received over 1 million votes, more than 66%.
