Patty Sue Lairmore Crawford Schulte was the second child born to Bonnie Ailene Mann Lairmore and Elace Burl Lairmore on March 10th, 1933, in Dewar, Okla. Patty married George Robert Crawford in 1950, and with him had four children: Michael Alan, Ramon “Scott”, Jeffrey “Jeff” Lynn and Kimberly Ann. She later married Charles Schulte and became stepmother to six more children: Mary, Mark, Fred, Justin, Martha

Patty was a very beautiful and petite woman whose very existence was full of artistic pursuits. She wrote books, owned an art gallery and taught silk art in San Miguel Mexico. She had a world of energy, talent and great love for her husband, Charles. Patty and Charles together strived to instill into all of their children a spirit of chasing their dreams with diligence and courage. Their goal was to raise independent, ethical, happy, individuals who worked hard and had great self-discipline and admirable ethics. They were great encouragers!

So many of our memories of Patty and Charles were thanks to the gracious invitations each year from Mary and Darrell for Thanksgiving gatherings. These were cheerful and robust get togethers that were enjoyed by all and grew larger every year for many years. Patty and Charles welcomed all spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with open arms, love and pride. Patty was preceded in death by her son Michael; her husband Charles; her mother and father; and brother

She is survived by her sisters, Joyce Jackson and Jan Davis; brother-in-law Bob Davis; as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by her children, Scott and Marcia Crawford of Oklahoma, their children, Michael and Amanda Crawford, Ryan and Sarah Dobson, and their families; Jeff Crawford of Texas; Charlie and Kim Enterline of Oklahoma, their children Taylor and Brad Pierce, and Charles Ryan and Jillian Enterline, and their families; Darrell and Mary Bailey; Mark Schulte of Texas, his daughters Marina and Rachel; Fred and Jane Schulte of Texas, their daughter Nina and her family; Justin Schulte of TX, his daughters Julie, Diana and family, and Katy; Martha and Fred Ouellette of Washington, their children Melissa and Freddy, and their families; and Laura Schulte. Patty had 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 greatgreat grandchildren.
