THOMAS – Funeral services for Patsy Jane Dalrymple, 81 year-old Thomas resident, will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022, 10:00 A.M. at the Brethren in Christ Church with David Beck and T.C. Perkins officiating under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Thomas. Burial will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022, 4:00 P.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
Patsy was born June 9, 1940, in Stafford to Vance and Pauline (Sharp) Kenney and passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at OU Health Center in Oklahoma City. Patsy was raised southwest of Butler and graduated from Butler High School in 1958. She attended OSU in Stillwater and earned a Bachelor Degree in Home Economics, in 1962. She was a Home Economist with OSU Extension Source until 1965 and also did clerical work for a few oil companies in Ardmore. On July 21, 1962, she married Ronald Leon“R.L.” Dalrymple in Kingfisher. They moved to Ardmore in 1962 until 2001 when they moved to a farm in the Thomas area. Patsy enjoyed traveling, reading, family activities, and raising her family. She was a tremendous daughter, sister, grandma, mother-in-law and wife.
Patsy is survived by her husband, R.L. Dalrymple of Thomas; daughter-in-law, Cathy Dalrymple of Davis; three grandchildren, Dillon Dalrymple, Hannah Dalrymple and Sarah Busby; and one great-granddaughter, Masyn Busby. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, LeRoy and Bill; and two sons, Chad Dalrymple and Branden Dalrymple.
