Peggy Sue Parker

Sunday July 31, 2022, our Mama, Mema, and Sister, Peggy Sue Parker gained her wings and rejoined her heavenly family. Please join us in a celebration of life for Peggy Parker on Friday at 1:00 PM in the Craddock Memorial Chapel in Ardmore. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at Craddock Funeral Home.

Peggy was born August 6, 1934, in Orr, Ok. to Frank and Beulah (Black) Wallace.

She and Robert Parker were married on June 2, 1951, in Waurika, Ok. She was a graduate of the Duncan High School and was a graduate of the very first class of the LPN program at Southern Vo tech. Peggy was caring and compassionate, working as a Surgical Nurse for over 35 years at Mercy Memorial and Ardmore Day Surgery.

Peggy loved God, her church, and her family. She enjoyed working in her yard and watching the Oklahoma Sooners.

She is survived by her sons, Alan D. Parker of Ardmore, Robert David Parker, and his wife Shannon of Wilson, Ok., son-in-law; Ron Bolton of Lone Grove, Ok; brother, Jerry Wallace and wife Virginia of Waurika, Ok and Gary Wallace of San Antonio, Tx; sisters, Judy Wallace Delaney of Sugden, Ok and Alene Lyons of Marietta, Ok; grandchildren, Ronnie Bolton, wife Carla, Jonathan Bolton and wife Kelli, Zach Parker, Ryan Parker and wife Sarah, Danielle Gaither, Kendra Gaither and Samantha Gaither; great grandchildren, Glenna, Dylan, Cassidy, Parker, Ava, Audree, Brooks, Piper, Macy, Ruby, Lane and Kyle. And numerous great great grandchildren.

Peggy was preceded by her parents, husband, Robert of 45 years, daughter Pam Bolton, brothers, Junior Wallace and Edgar Wallace, Dewey Wallace, and Gene Wallace; sisters, Irene Hartman and Glenda Muncrief Hood and granddaughter, Candice Parker.

Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons, Ronnie Bolton, Jonathan Bolton, Ryan Parker, Dylan Bolton, Parker Bolton and Parker Phelps.
