The son of the late Virgil Redden Riner and Mary Ruth (Miller) Vaughn, Raymond was born on January 11, 1949 in Ardmore, Oklahoma and passed away on May 8, 2022 in the local hospital.

A life-long Ardmore resident, Raymond attended Dickson School. His work history includes being a heavy equipment operator, working with McCoy Tree Surgery and as a truck driver for USA Truck and then Carroll Trucking for many years. He loved being out in nature, one of his favorite pass times were carving toys out of wood and working with metal.

Survivors include his sons: Brent Riner and wife Andrea of Lone Grove and Danny Riner and fiancee TaKneallya Mendez of Lone Grove; daughters, Gail Kemeliotis and husband Michael of Spring Hill, Florida and Nancy Jamieson Wanner of Las Vegas, Nevada; step-father, Elton Vaughn of Ardmore, OK; sister, Mary Sharp of Mannsville, OK; grandchildren, Chris Riner and fiancee, Sara Molina, Dalton Riner, Ashley Johnson and husband Colton, Jacob Wanner, Sarah Wanner and Aaron Wanner; great-grandchildren, Levi Johnson and Samuel Riner. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wilson Riner; sisters, Ruth Ellen Vaughn-Whittington and Regina Gail Vaughn.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday May 14, 2022 in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home with Reverend Bruce Kirby officiating. Interment will follow at Provence Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Brent Riner, Danny Riner, Jackie Gilley, Timothy Gilley, Paul Bates and Colton Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be: Dalton Riner, Chris Riner, Ashley Johnson and Jared Walker.

The family will receive friends at the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home Friday evening from 6-8 p.m.
