The daughter of the late Geoffrey Joe Baker and Marcelle (Lillard) Rogers was born on September 14, 1954 in Dekalb, Illinois and passed away on November 12, 2022 in Ardmore, Oklahoma nursing facility at the age of 68 years, 1 month and 28 days.
Reared in Illinois, Rebekah moved to Arizona at the age of ten living there until she moved to Oklahoma in 1976. Rebekah began her work career with Montgomery Ward’s where she worked for a couple of years before becoming a fulltime housewife. Later, Rebekah spent the next 25 years working at Woodview Nursing Home, first as a nurse’s aide and then as a certified medication aide until her health made her have to retire in 2015. In her leisure time Rebekah’s hobbies included: reading, playing games, watching Jeopardy and spending time with family.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Michelle Swartzbaugh and husband Kelly; daughter, Candie Garrett and husband Marc; sons, Geoffrey Moore and wife Christy and son, Thomas Moore and fiancee’ Kim Thurman; five granddaughters, 3 grandsons, and one great-grandson. Preceded in death by parents, Joe Baker and Marcelle (Lillard) Rogers; husband, Charles Dotson; husband, Larry Moore; fiancee’ Bill Walls. Honorary pallbearers will be: Geoffrey Moore, Thomas Moore, Kelly Swartzbaugh, Kyle Swartzbaugh, Hunter Swartzbaugh, Dillen Greenwood, and Taylor Garrett.
