Sharon Kay Miller, 61, of Reagan, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, surrounded by her loving family and coworkers.
Sharon was born on August 5, 1960, in Ardmore, to JV and Peggy (Watkins) Holley. She spent her years growing up in the Ardmore area, attending grade school at Plainview and then high school at Ardmore, graduating in the class of 1978. After high school, Sharon went on to obtain her LPN at the Vo-Tech in Ardmore in 1979. She kept pursuing her career and attended MSC and graduated with her RN degree in 1988.
Sharon married the love of her life, Stanley Miller, on June 22, 1987. She spent 42 years of her working career as an OB Nurse at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, and loved her staff dearly. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and looking at recipes. Sharon enjoyed traveling, especially to the mountains and finding new restaurants to eat at. Music, attending concerts and hunting mushrooms were also a few things you could find Sharon doing. She adored her little corgi, Gus. The life of the party, the smile that was contagious and the personality that brightened every room are just a few things to describe the truly genuine, beautiful soul that Sharon was.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, JV and Peggy Holley; brothers, Jimmy Holley and David Holley; sister, Helen Damerell. Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her
Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her husband, Stanley Miller; daughter, Katy Davis and husband Paul; brother, Dale Holley; sister, Barbara Claborn; and a host of other family, friends and coworkers who will deeply miss her.
Funeral services to honor and celebrate the life of Sharon Kay Miller will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Reagan Community Center. Interment to follow at Troy Cemetery. Family hour was held Friday, July 1, 2022 from 4 – 6 p.m. at DeArman-Clark Funeral Home.
