The Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association announced regional tournament assignments for Class B, A, 2A and 3A schools Monday.
Davis and Turner will host regionals.
The Lady Wolves (24-4) open with Lexington at noon Thursday, while Little Axe and Prague square off in the other half of the bracket. The Lady Bulldogs (11-16) swept Riverside in the district tournament; Davis had a bye.
“The seniors and their teammates have worked their rear ends off and are well-deserving to host a regional,” Davis coach Jeff Parnell said.
Turner (25-2) will host a regional with Big Pasture, Geronimo and Roff. The Lady Falcons—who enter play with an eight-game winning streak, will play Grandfield at noon Thursday. The Lady Bearcats (17-6) won all three games in their district tournament to advance.
Turner is the defending Class B state runner-up.
Ringling will travel to Quinton with Davenport and Welch. Ringling (19-3) will play the host team at noon Thursday. The Lady Blue Devils beat Waurika, then swept Wilson to win their district.
Ringling takes a 13-game winning streak into regional play.
The Lady Blue Devils seek their second consecutive berth in the state tournament and third since 2010.
Healdton will travel to Mangum with Boone-Apache and Hobart. Healdton (22-6) will playBoone-Apache at 2 p.m. Thursday.
Tishomingo will travel to Silo with Frederick and Howe. The Lady Indians (11-14) will play the host Lady Rebels at noon Thursday. Tishomingo went to Stratford and won two in district plays.
Kingston travels to Washington, which will also host Comanche and Marlow. The Lady Redskins (22-10) play Comanche at 2 p.m. Thursday. Kingston swept Atoka in district play.
