WEATHERFORD — Tecumseh took a brief 2-0 lead after the top of the first inning before Lookeba-Sickles stormed back for an 8-5 win Friday at the I-40 Classic.

Lookeba-Sickles netted three runs in both the first and second innings.

Tecumseh developed just six hits off starter Fabian Orozco and Kade Squires.

Savage leadoff hitter Kullen Meadows and three-hole hitter Jayden Shafer were Tecumseh’s only multiple hitters with two each.

Byron Thompson and Meadows had a double. Shafer and Meadows scored twice.

Starter Byron Thompson of Tecumseh gave up six runs, only three earned, in 1 2/3 innings. Meadows, in 4 1/3 innings, was touched for two earned runs on two hits. He struck out five and walked four.

Tecumseh drops to 9-8. The Savages will end their I-40 Classic stay at 2:30 today against Kingfisher.
