Sometimes there really is no place like home.


The Plainview Lady Indians found this to be true on Saturday at Regional Park.


A total of 19 points put up by the Lady Indians proved to be more than enough to claim the team title at the Plainview Invitational, as Comanche finished second with 51.


Scarlett Williams won the individual championship with a time of 12:42.05, with teammate Jacey Keith in third at 12:46.44, and Madie Turner in fourth at 13:04.88.


Katie Wiggs placed fifth with Hadyn Hobbs in seventh and Alli McAdams in eighth as they clocked in with times of 13:16.69, 13:19.28, and 13:21.66 respectively.


Olivia Heller finished 10th overall with a time of 14:05.41, with Emily Butler in 13th overall at 14:40.47.


Other finishers for Plainview included Savannah Sauer (16:03.58), Morgan Foster (16:16.63), Hannah Wlodarczyk (17:34.26), Marla Williams (17:38.04), and Alivia Elliott (17:48.34).


The Dickson Lady Comets were also represented at the meet by Ashlen Clem who finished in fifth overall with a time of 13:15.70, with Lauren Hendry finishing 12th with a time of 14:26.90. Cassie Alvarez also ran in the meet for Dickson with a time of 19:17.67.


Ardmore’s girls were represented by Nichole Gould, who finished with a time of 17:50.


In the boys race, the Plainview Indians finished second overall with a total of 60 points while Harding Charter Prep won the team title with 33 points.


Josh Hottell was the top finisher for Plainview in fourth place with a time of 17:47.54, with Trevor Honeycutt in sixth overall at 18:03.57, and Ethan Lollman in seventh at 18:20.52.


Carson Orr finished 13th overall with a time of 19:25.57, with Colin Neher clocking in at 24:00.57, while Jacob Rotten crossed the finish line at 26:38.71.


Ardmore was represented at the meet by Aaron Alvarez (19:09.88), Cuauhtemoc Garcia (19:53.34), Aiden Kirchenbauer (23:45.48), and Gabe Presley (25:05.25).


Dickson was represented at the meet by Jakob Cook with a time of 21:38.
