Free COVID-19 testing to be offered at the Ardmore Convention Center on April 2

The Carter County Health Department will be conducting a regional testing drive-thru location on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at the Ardmore Convention Center located at 2401 N. Rockford Road, Ardmore. The drive-thru times are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or while supplies last. The tests are free and people must meet all of the following criteria for testing:

• Oklahoma Resident

• 18 years and over

• Sick with COVID-19 symptoms (fever and cough or shortness of breath)

People coming to the site need to enter the Convention Center from the south on Rockford Rd. Please no pets in the car. No walk-up patients will be tested. We ask that people stay in their cars.

The department received 150 testing kits Wednesday from the State Health Department in conjunction with OSU Labs to be able to conduct this clinic. For a list of other testing locations across the state, visit www.coronavirus.health.ok.gov .

Future community testing sites and times will be announced through media releases and on Health Department social media.
