OSBI requests public’s assistance in identifying victim of ’suspicious death’ in Murray County

The Murray County Sheriff’s Office has requested the assistance of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation in response to a death being reported as suspicious.

At around 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 7 the Murray County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call regarding a body that had been found in a field next to U.S. Highway 77, near exit 47 off of Interstate 35, according to a release from the OSBI.

The victim is being described as Hispanic male, possibly in his mid-20’s to mid-30’s and wearing a blue shirt, jeans and cowboy boots. The victim’s identity is unknown at this time.

The OSBI is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the victim. Anyone with information on the individual’s identity is urged to contact the OSBI at (800) 522-8017.
