Next fall two Plainview seniors will be taking to the field at the University of Central Oklahoma playing football for the Bronchos. Jaxon Clemons and Adam Greisman were surrounded by friends and family Monday afternoon when they both signed their National Letter of Intent.

Plainview coach Joe Price said he thinks both players made a great decision for their future.

“I”m really excited for these two guys,” Price said. “I think both of them have made really good decisions for themselves. Both are going to go to UCO, so they’ll both be Bronchos next year.”

Clemons said he’s thrilled to continue his football career and thinks UCO will be a perfect fit.

“It means the world to me (to play college football),” Clemons said. “It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and something I’ve dreamed of doing. UCO just felt like home, I went up to Kansas, Missouri, and all these other places but I liked UCO the best.”

Greisman agreed with Clemons.

“It’s closer to home and the facilities are super nice,” Greisman said. “When I went there it just felt like the place for me.”

Greisman said he thinks his time playing football at Plainview has served him well, and he’s looking forward to taking it to the next level.

“It’s been great (playing at Plainview), and all the coaches have been a great influence,” Greisman said. “Going on to compete at the next level has always been a dream.”
