Troy James Zeleny, former Ardmore resident, passed away from this earth very peacefully with all of his family at his bedside on Monday, May 30, 2022. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on July 6, 1963, to James Zeleny and Sara Stromberg Zeleny. He attended high school in Albuquerque and Los Lunas, New Mexico; and also attended Rose State College in Midwest City.

He had lived in Allen, Texas, for the last five years. Watching Oklahoma University and Kansas Chiefs football were among his favorite pastimes plus fishing and, spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Nathan and Sara Jones of Allen, Texas; daughter, Kayla Zeleny and fiancé Ed Wallman of Harrah, Okla.; son, Avery Zeleny of Lawton; sisters, Shannon McElroy of Ardmore, Faith Nelson and Ashley Jones of Allen, Texas; and special family members, Jason and Lylah Zeleny of Bakersfield, Calif. Other surviving relatives are his aunt, Karen Jones of Belen, N.M., and aunt and uncle, Ann Stromberg and Rudi Volti of Pomona, Calif. Also surviving are nephews, Kale King, Mason McElroy, Damon Jones, Marlan Jones and niece, Rachel McElroy; along with lots of cousins and many friends. Preceding him in death were father, James Zeleny; grandparents, Paul and Olva Zeleny, George and Virgie Jones and TC and June Stromberg. His grandma June passed away only six months before he did at age 106.
