The potential for winter weather has caused many area schools, government offices and events to close on Tuesday, and the decision about cancellations for Wednesday to be decided later Tuesday evening.

All area schools were closed on Tuesday with only Ardmore City Schools having already made the announcement of closing campuses on Wednesday with the students set to have virtual learning.

The City of Ardmore closed their offices at noon on Tuesday and have delayed the city meeting set for tonight. The new date for the meeting will be announced in the coming days.

The Ardmore High School production of “Once Upon a Mattress” has been cancelled for tonight, but the show is set to go on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Ardmore Little Theatre’s production of “The Addams Family” has been cancelled for this evening, but all additional performances are currently set to go on as scheduled. ALT will be contacting anyone with tickets for Tuesday to help them reschedule.
